Pizza for breakfast! This pizza is made with eggs and bacon, so it is a hearty start to the day.

Ingredients:


Amount Ingredient
  2 pkg. Morrison's Bis-Kits Mix
  1 tbsp. butter
  1 cup scrambled eggs
  1/4 cup green chilis, canned, diced, drained (optional)
  1/4 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
  1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  1 cup Pioneer Sausage Gravy, prepared
  1/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped
  1/4 cup onion, chopped
  1/4 cup tomatoes, diced
  1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded

Preparation Instructions:


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly oil a 12-inch pizza pan.
     
  2. Prepare biscuit dough according to the package instructions.
     
  3. Press dough onto pans to form a crust. Pierce all over with a fork. Bake for 7 minutes (5 minutes convection) or until crust just starts to brown. Lightly brush crust with melted butter. 
     
  4. While dough is baking, sautè onion and bell pepper in butter until onions start to soften. Add chilies and onion mixture to eggs.
     
  5. Spread gravy over biscuit crust. Top with scrambled egg mixture.
     
  6. Top with cooked bacon and cheeses.
     
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cheese melts and starts to brown.
     
  8. Top with diced tomatoes.
