Cheese Crackers

Crackers made from scratch-- so easy with Peter Pan Flour.

  • 1 lb Cheddar cheese, grated finely
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 cup Peter Pan Flour
  • sesame seeds (optional) as needed


  • Preheat over to 350°F.
  • Mix cheese and butter together until creamy.
  • Add salt, cayenne peper and flour.
  • Form dough into a log about 1 inch in diameter, wrap in wax paper, and chill.
  • Slice thinly, about 1/4 inch thick. Place onto an ungreased cooking sheet and, if desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake until edges are slightly golden, about 10-12 minutes.
  • Transfer crackers to a wire rack and allow to cool.
