Hot Cross Biscuits
A biscuit twist on a traditional Easter favorite.

- 2 pkg Morrison Bis-Kits Mix-
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup candied citrus and candied cherries, chopped
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
Preheat over to 400°F.
Pour milk into a medium mixing bowl. Add biscuit mix, sugar, spices, candied fruit and raisins.
Mix with large spoon for about a minute, or until liquid is absorbed. Do not overwork dough.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop mixture with an ice-cream scoop onto prepared sheet.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
In a small bowl, wisk together 2 Tbsp. milk and 1/2 cup confectioners sugar. Whisk until sugar is dissolved.
Drizzle icing over top of slightly warmed biscuits.
